The Vision of ACIC MIET Meerut Foundation.

“To establish a thriving community-driven center of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region, empowering communities to transform ideas into impactful, sustainable solutions that address real-world challenges and play a pivotal role in strengthening the local innovation ecosystem and contributing to the socio-economic development of the region and beyond.”

The Mission of ACIC MIET Meerut Foundation.

“ACIC MIET Meerut Foundation is committed to nurturing a culture of innovation by identifying, supporting, and enabling young student innovators, grassroots innovators, and community-driven enterprises. Through collaborative efforts with educational institutions, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and industry partners, the foundation aims to convert creative ideas into viable products and solutions that improve lives, foster economic self-reliance, and contribute to sustainable development.”

Objectives of ACIC MIET Meerut Foundation.

1. Identifying and Empowering Grassroots Innovators

  • To discover and empower local innovators at the bottom of the pyramid (BOP) who address pressing community challenges with unique solutions.
  • To blend creativity, science, and technology to develop practical, cost-effective products and services tailored to local needs.

2. Fostering Innovation in Educational Institutions

  • To actively collaborate with schools (UP Board, CBSE), polytechnics, ITIs, and HEIs to promote a culture of creativity and innovation among students.
  • To conduct workshops, seminars, hackathons, and Ideathons to encourage problem-solving and critical thinking.

3. Enabling the Innovation-to-Impact Cycle

  • To support innovators in converting their ideas into proof of concepts, pre-prototypes, prototypes, and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
  • To offer mentorship, technical resources, and financial support to accelerate the innovation journey from concept to market-ready solution.

4. Building a Collaborative Innovation Ecosystem

  • To actively collaborate with academia, government bodies, industry partners, and NGOs to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in the region.
  • To facilitate partnerships that provide innovators with resources, mentorship, and market access.

5. Promoting Entrepreneurship through SHGs

  • To strengthen the capabilities of SHGs by providing training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and market access.
  • To empower SHG members to develop scalable, innovative products that address local challenges and enhance economic independence.

6. Promoting Inclusive and Sustainable Development

  • To ensure that innovation efforts contribute meaningfully to societal progress, focusing on sustainability, inclusivity, and self-reliance.
  • To develop and promote solutions that have a lasting social and economic impact, particularly in underserved/ unserved communities.
